Established by two brothers in 1977, Town Centre Automobiles have built an enviable reputation for customer service and are well known for their attention to detail and personality. When we first started working with Town Centre we were fascinated to hear stories of grandparents who had bought their first cars from the original founders and come back with their children and grandchildren for their first cars. We also heard that staff end up getting to know their customers so well that they have even been invited to weddings! Reading through the hundreds of reviews on their Facebook page certainly show just how many happy customers they have.
Having grown steadily throughout their history, the company has recently undergone a rebrand from Town Centre Citroen to Town Centre Automobiles. The transition sees the company continuing to offer a full range of Citroen cars and services whilst adding services for Peugeot owners too. The rebrand allows them to retain the brand recognition that they have with a loyal customer base across the North East but continue to expand further into new areas.
Commenting on the rebrand, Dealer Principal, Chris Sopp said; “It is important that Town Centre Automobiles retains its established values but at the same time develops a new and modern identity. We have the same great people and are providing the same great service to our customers but feel that its right to invest in our marketing strategy to create an even stronger brand presence both on and offline.”
The marketing strategy that drove the rebrand also has a heavy focus on digital strategy and as a result the Senior Management and Marketing teams wanted to partner with an agency that would be able to help them realise their ambitions. After a competitive pitch process the Town Centre Team chose Enigma as their web developer of choice.
Given their unique personality and reputation Town Centre Automobiles were adamant that they didn’t want a generic corporate car dealer website. As an agency we focus on working closely with our clients to design and build websites and digital applications that are tailored to fit their needs exactly. We feel this delivers a high level of effectiveness which ultimately delivers better long term results. The fit between agency and client was obvious.
We have already been through a discovery and needs analysis phase with the key stakeholders at Town Centre and will soon be beginning the design and build phase. In the coming months we will be updating you on the progress of the project and will keep you posted when their new website launches. To be the first to know keep and eye on our Twitter feed.
