What they said
“We worked with Enigma for many years and are always impressed with their insight into our world and their execution of ideas and concepts.
They are flexible and solution-focused, which allowed us to deliver innovative and well-regarded interactive learning to our demanding audience of teachers, young people, and youth justice professionals.”
David Allen, Head of Education, RSPCAThe Ambition
As a prominent national charity, the RSPCA harnesses the potential of digital platforms to connect with its audience, disseminate crucial messages, and increase donations.
Working closely with their education team, we produced a whole range of acclaimed digital initiatives for the RSPCA, ranging from interactive experiences to games designed for diverse purposes and audiences.
When they were seeking to develop a standout interactive, the RSPCA knew they could turn to us for our expertise and innovation.

Example 1: RSPCA Education Website
We created a dynamic and interactive website tailored for the education and outreach team. This platform served as a tool to convey their core messages to schools throughout the UK.
Specifically designed with Key Stage 1 and 2 students in mind (ages 5–11), the website was fully responsive. It adopted a visually appealing style intended to be both enjoyable and captivating, featuring a variety of engaging activities such as quizzes and games.
Example 2: We Wish You A Furry Christmas
As part of the RSPCA’s annual Christmas Campaign we created an eCard maker that allowed people to upload a pic of their pet and a personal message to create a festive animated eCard.
In the weeks before Christmas, thousands of cards were created and shared via email and on social media.

Example 3: Breaking the chain
We delivered a video-based interactive designed to educate schoolchildren aged 7–11 (Key Stage 3) about the consequences of animal cruelty. Used as part of the RSPCA’s Breaking the Chain campaign, the site presented stories in an immersive way. This used dramatised news footage and piece to camera videos that were written, filmed and produced specifically for this purpose by our team, working with specialist filmmakers.

Animations and Illustrations
Much of our collaboration with the RSPCA centred around handcrafted animations and illustrations skillfully created by our team of designers.
We developed a series of animations aimed at highlighting crucial issues such as animal testing and responsible pedigree dog breeding practices. Additionally, we produced an animated video to promote the RSPCA's Animal Champion packs, designed specifically for their young supporters.

What We Achieved

Our interactives were seen by over 20,000 students and RSPCA supporters every year as part of their educational and outreach programmes

We delivered successful UK-wide campaigns
