Western Power demo their exciting new Carbon Tracer App

We announced a few months ago that Enigma, Western Power Distribution (WPD) and the Carbon Trust have been working together to create an exciting new application that will allow users to view the carbon intensity of their energy usage to help make them ‘more green’.

The application will soon be available in the Android and Apple app stores and through the WPD website but its official announcement happened at the Low Carbon Networks & Innovation Conference (LCNI) this week, where a short video was played to the delegates highlighting how the application works.

It was developed following extensive user research to allow users to get an accurate picture of their local energy mix and to help them understand about how using it can make their carbon footprint smaller.
