The University of Leicester wanted a way of understanding how far children, aged 7-11 years, demonstrate their legal competence in decision making.
WHAT WE DID
Utilising the power of gamification, we developed a native tablet based application ‘The Adventures of Lex’, a fun game designed to gather information about children’s perceptions of the law
Lex, is a friendly illustrated alien character who lands on earth to learn more about us and what’s right and wrong. Children are encouraged to record answers to questions throughout the game, these are later downloaded and analysed for research purposes.
