North East Local Enterprise Partnership

The North East Local Enterprise Partnership (North East LEP) is a public, private and education sector partnership responsible for promoting and developing economic growth in the local authority areas of County Durham, Gateshead, Newcastle, North Tyneside, Northumberland, South Tyneside and Sunderland. By working with partners their mission is to grow the region’s economy through the development and delivery of a Strategic Economic Plan, an evidence-based response to our long-term economic challenges and opportunities that were identified by the North East Independent Economic Review.
