Carbon Trust

The Carbon Trust is an independent organisation that helps governments, organisations and companies around the world to reduce their carbon emissions, become more resource efficient and utilise low carbon technologies. Created in 2001, the Carbon Trust are a world-leading and trusted expert in low carbon issues and sustainable strategies.

We are working with the Carbon Trust on a project for their Offshore Wind Accelerator (OWA) programme made up of a consortium of offshore wind developers (including EnBW, E.ON, Innogy SE, Ørsted, Scottish Power Renewables/Iberdrola, Shell, SSE Renewables, Equinor and Vattenfall Wind Power). The OWA aims to reduce the cost of offshore wind, overcome market barriers, develop industry best practice and trigger the development of new industry standards.
