There have been many great thinkers who have shaped the way we live today. Have you ever thought about how these great thinkers and their great ideas impacted on each other; Who influenced who? Who worked together? Who shared similar opinions
Well, neither had we - until our clever clients over at The Open University told us they wanted to find a fun, interactive way to allow people to explore how these great social thinkers are linked together.
They wanted an interactive which would engage with a wider audience on the web, encourage learning and complement the BBC’s Great Thinkers: In their Own Words series.
And so, the University set us a challenge! (Sorry, we got a bit carried away with this game thing!)
Our mission: to create a fun, informative game, with strong audience appeal, designed to challenge users into thinking about the influence and effects key thinkers of our time have had on one another.
Not only must it appeal to those interested in or studying Social Sciences, plus those avidly watching the TV series, it also needed to allow a wider adult audience on the web, to access this fascinating subject . In other words, the content and subject matter needed to be brought to life and made accessible to users of all backgrounds.
And so, in August 2011, an interactive learning game Great Thinkers: Connections was launched for all the World to try
Go ahead, have a go, you know you want to!
What does the client say?
‘This is the third project that I’ve worked on with Enigma Interactive and they continue to deliver products that are beautifully designed, engaging, well managed and highly rated by our users. Great Thinkers: Connections was delivered in ambitious timescales and this is evidence that the team are dedicated in all aspects of their work. I would recommend them to anyone who values high quality and creativity.’
