Having worked with VSS on their ‘Crime and You’ website for victims of youth crime, Enigma were approached to update and revamp their existing corporate website. After a thorough process of consultation and analysis it was decided to scrap the old site and start from scratch, whilst retaining some of the existing text content.
The resulting site is a stunning example of what can be achieved by working closely together to reach a communal goal. Features include:

- Directory of services – a comprehensive search facility allowing users to find their nearest service – easily updated in the back office the system is designed to send emails to the relevant people within VSS whenever a self-referral form is completed online. Data protection is of utmost importance here where potentially vulnerable users are imparting their contact details.
- Simple integration of a third party webshop.
- Day in the Life – all about the volunteers who give their time to help others – managed via a simple template in the back office which sorts out the presentation of the front end.
- News, Events, Case Studies and Job Opportunities also managed via simple templates in the back office.
- Intelligent feedback form – which sends enquiries to the relevant person within VSS according to the subject matter.
