Planning renewables

Planning renewables is a resource based website which aims to provide the most up-to-date information for local authority planning officers and councillors in one central location.
With information centralised around planning renewable energy installations the website will host an ever growing resource of advice, guidance and case studies ranging from hydro energy to public surveys and engagements.
Using Enigma’s powerful Trinity Content Management System the website has been build to accommodate vast amount of content in a very user-friendly way. Users are able to browse resources via categories and/or resource type in addition to using a fully categorised word search feature taking the user directly to the resource item within any individual page across the whole site.
Build to meet level AA accessibility WCAG 2.0 standards, the site is expected to grow significantly over the next year leading to further developments and an ongoing relationship between Planning renewables, run by the Centre for Sustainable Energy team, and Enigma.
