North East Renewables

This attractively designed site commissioned by the Energy Saving Trust seeks to clarify the history, principles and processes behind the various types of renewable energy whilst providing a comprehensive directory of products, suppliers and installers available in the North East of England.

A wealth of thoroughly researched information is clearly presented in an easily navigable format allowing people to find the information they need to make informed choices when considering the different types of renewable energy. This includes information regarding costs, grants, how it works, etc as well as case studies to show how each technology is being used in the region. A complex, integrated database allows users to browse, cross-reference and compare products, suppliers and installers to find what they are looking for.

A full back office system allows the administration team to update the content – enabling them to add, edit and (if required) delete suppliers, installers and products quickly and easily. All presentation and cross-referencing is taken care of by the system.
