Jobtimise.co.uk was a bespoke website created on behalf of Sunderland based Cask Media. The site is intended to provide the most comprehensive and up-to-date online listing of job vacancies in the region and to offer North East employers a fast, easy to use and cost effective online recruitment and job advertising service.
The site is managed by means of a bespoke content management system (CMS) and a series of associated applications, all accessed through a secure login that enables the business to operate with minimal manual intervention.
As well as giving Cask Media the ability to easily update the content of the website quickly and easily, the back office system provides tools for controlling the price of job postings, approving and managing the status of credit accounts and reviewing new postings and jobs which are about to expire.
Job seekers can search for jobs and also register with the site and create online profiles for viewing by potential employers. Profiles are then managed using an easy-to-use ‘My Profile’ feature which is accessed using a secure login ID and password. Job seekers can also apply online for positions they are interested in and set preferences for receiving alerts when new jobs that match their requirements are added to the site.
Employers can also register with the site and once registered are able to create an online profile of their organisation. Employer profiles contain a brief description of the company which is displayed alongside any job ads the company places on the website. As with jobseeker profiles, company profiles are managed using a ‘My Profile’ feature of the site which is accessed using a secure login ID and password.
