Godfrey Syrett design and manufacture furniture for workplace, breakout and residential environments. Formed in 1947 to service the newly established National Health Service, they have blossomed from their modest workshop beginnings into a multi-million pound organisation. They currently offer the widest portfolio of furniture available in the United Kingdom.
This portfolio results from a successful combination of cutting-edge manufacture with traditional craftsmanship, and their brief to us was for a website that reflects this blend of heritage and modernity.
Godfrey Syrett were keen to take an exemplar approach to the development of their site, and as such it was devised with the highest level of accessibility in mind (W3C WAI Level AAA). This consideration informed the entire project, and encouraged new methods in tackling both design and functionality. Portfolio pages are clean and contemporary, interactive services such as Online Ordering are simple and logical, and the navigation is quick and intuitive.
