ATLAS Guide

The Advisory Team for Large Applications (ATLAS) is an independent advisory service to Local Authorities providing guidance and resource information on how to plan and implement large scale building developments. To assist in the process ATLAS have developed the “Guide” to build understanding, establish good practices and ensure that full and robust processes are undertaken for any project.
ATLAS recruited Enigma to assist them in creating an online version of the ATLAS Guide which contains a vast amount of complex and related information on the development process and stages required to ensure a successful project. It was obvious from the start that clear, consistent navigation to easily identify between the four key areas of About the Guide, Process Zone, Topic Zone and Case Studies would be a key factor in ensuring the success of the site.
Working closely alongside key personnel from ATLAS, Enigma approached the design and functionality of the site by creating colour coded areas supported by additional visual design features to help display the related information from all four areas clearly and intuitively to the user.
Alongside the design styling other bespoke features, listed below, have helped create a strong and highly usable website.
