ABPI Genes and Inheritance

Enigma were commissioned to rework the Human Genomes module of the website to ensure it meets the needs of the new science GCSE curriculum while enhancing its usability and interactivity. Now renamed ‘Genes and Inheritance’, the new module comprises 8 individual components aimed at demystifying this complex topic for 14-16 year old students.

Peppered with deceptively simple animations, colourful graphics and photographs to complement the text (written by a specialist biology teacher to ensure conformance to the curriculum), the new module has received rave reviews from science teachers who are delighted to have such a useful and up-to-date teaching aid. The module is also designed to be used by individual students who may wish to study alone.

Using the template designs that we created for the Hormones module and the Skin module, we were able to create the engaging educational pages that help improve the learning experience quickly and cost effectively.

The end result is a highly interactive collection of pages that make the learning process more interesting, engaging and exciting.
