News: 'Bupa by You,' create your own ad with our online tool!

Enigma were delighted to be asked to do some groundbreaking interactive on the new 'Bupa by You' campaign recently with those clever people at Quick.tv

The ‘Bupa by You’ campaign – designed by OgilvyOne – was launched in order to get customers to interact and share with others their view of ‘what healthy means to you.’ The idea behind the campaign, which supports the launch of Bupa’s new, adaptable health insurance is that ‘healthy means different things to different people,’ therefore their new health insurance product, Bupa by You, allows you to customize your health insurance to suit you.

And you are now, therefore also invited to customise your own Bupa ad, which you  can star in or produce yourselves, using a special, dynamic online customisation tool (developed by Enigma). Several lucky users will  be given the chance for their ad to appear on national TV
 
 

 

As part of this project, Enigma were invited to collaborate with North East video software producers Quick.tv in order to produce an online video personalisation tool, which allows users to upload video and text content in order to produce their own advertisement for the ‘Bupa by You’ campaign. 

The interactive tool, developed by Enigma, takes video clips submitted by users, their first name and their idea of ‘what healthy means to me’ and edits it to form part of a ‘Bupa by You’ ad. 
 
Featuring animation, music, video and text, these engaging personalised clips can then be; reviewed, submitted as entries into a ‘Bupa by You’ competition and shared with family and friends via social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Google+.  
 
Upon being reviewed by Bupa, chosen clips are submitted to a gallery for other users to ‘View and Vote’ on their favourites.
 
Users are currently being encouraged to submit their own content, via an ‘Inspiration’ gallery and the current Ogilvy campaigns, and we personally can’t wait to see the results of what they produce!
